Meet Ava

Ava Cando, 12, who was diagnosed on the autism spectrum when she was 10 years old—and has received autism services from ESSC in the past—is in the sixth grade, where her favorite subject is science and she participates in acting, dance and choir.

Hoping to be a working actress one day, the Easterseals Every1 With Autism Belongs PSA campaign is her first professional acting hire. An avid reader, Ava also likes to spend her free time with her friends and family.
